Pam & Evan

OUR STORY

It all started with a click... Which lead to our first date at the J Parker in Chicago. We both left that night knowing that we had something very special. After several more amazing dates, where the conversation lasted for hours, we made our relationship official at Pam's favorite country bar, Houndstooth.

Evan proposed to Pam at the J Parker, where they had their first date. He told Pam that they were going to spend the day celebrating their 2 year anniversary. Shortly after they arrived, Evan proposed! After the proposal, Evan surprised Pam with an engagement party attended by their friends and family. It was the happiest weekend of both of their lives.

Bridesmaids

Pamela Perlstein and Emily Perlstein

Emily Perlstein

Maid of Honor

Emily is Pam's Sister & her Little Peanut (Pam's childhood nickname for Emily that she's never been able to shake). Growing up they didn't always see eye to eye...especially when Emily would "borrow" Pam's clothes. However, over time, they have become the best of friends. Emily now lives in DC, but still travels home to Chicago throughout the year. Pam couldn't be more proud of all that Emily has accomplished, especially when she joined Pam's Sorority- Alpha Delta Pi. She is so happy to have her little peanut as her Maid of Honor!

Pam Perlstein and Jenna Epstein

Jenna Epstein

Jenna is Evan's Sister and Pam's future Sister. Evan first introduced Pam & Jenna at the Brookfield Zoo, where Jenna was completing a summer internship. Pam immediately shared her love for penguins & they instantly bonded. They've had so many fun times, from movie nights to traveling to New York City, and everything in between. Pam is so thankful for all of their memories and can't wait for all of their adventures to come!

Pam Perlstein and Laura Epstein

Laura Epstein

Laura is Evan's Sister in Law and Pam's future Epstein Sister! Evan first introduced them over brunch and the rest was history! Evan and Pam love spending time with Laura and Harry's three adorable kids: Ross, Jake, and Josh. They have spent many weekend afternoons at their house  enjoying some great family time! Pam is so thankful for the amazing friendship that her and Laura have created!

Pam Perlstein and Macy Gilbert

Macy Gilbert

Macy and Pam's friendship began one fateful day in their middle school cafeteria. They ended up sitting at the same lunch table & within a few days were the best of friends. Macy and Pam stood by each other's side through years of questionable fashion decisions (so much Abercrombie & Fitch), driving incidents (they still laugh about the day that Pam drove her Dad's Lexus into their garage), and more adventures than they can even count! From 7th grade to her wedding day, Pam could not be happier to have this girl by her side through all of life's adventures.

Pam Perlstein and Liz Griggs

Elizabeth Griggs

Liz & Pam first met at ASU their sophomore year through ADPi. Pam was hosting a party at her apartment and Liz came with a group of sisters to join the festivities. Within seconds of meeting each other they were absolutely inseparable. Their college years together were filled with Sunday Law & Order marathons, endless trips to Chompies (the best NYC style Deli in AZ), weekend road trips, and so much more. Even though they live 2,000 miles away today, they are still as close as ever. Liz is truly the Nemo to Pam's Dory and a forever best friend.

Pam Perlstein and Julie Siegel

Julie Siegel

Julie and Pam first met their freshman year at ASU. Julie was kind enough to lend a helping hand with some of Pam's more "difficult classes" (Accounting was not Pam's strong suit). Fast forward to a few years after graduation, and they reconnected while both living in Chicago. The past few years have been filled with endless happy hours, lunch dates, and dive bar adventures. From dollar you call it nights at ASU's best bars to weekly sushi dinners at their favorite neighborhood sushi spot,  Pam feels so lucky to have such an amazing best friend & West Loop Sister!

Pam Perlstein and Hannah Steinbrecher

Hannah Steinbrecher

Hannah and Pam first met when Pam moved to Naperville in 5th grade. Hannah was Pam's next door neighbor and babysat for her & her sister Emily. They still joke today about how misbehaved Pam was to poor Hannah! Flash forward a few years, Pam ended up pledging ADPi at ASU & Hannah was her big sister in the sorority. Their friendship has continued strong well past ASU graduation. From baby sitter to big sister and best friend,  Hannah is always there to put a smile on Pam's face and provide guidance, love & support.

Pam Perlstein and Kristen Trempner

Kristin Trempner

Pam and Kristin first met their freshman year at ASU and were in the same ADPi pledge class (Fall 08 Forever!!) It was through a bonding session the morning after their annual crush party that they truly become forever friends. They share a mutual love & affection for Taco Bell and would leave the bars early together to get their late nights snacks. They both also have some killer dance moves out on the floor!  Kristin now lives in Canada and just had a beautiful baby girl, Charlotte! Pam is truly honored to have her Taco Bell/Dancing Buddy by her side on her big day!

Groomsmen

Evan Epstein and Harry Epstein

Harry Epstein

Best Man

Harry is Evan's older brother.  As kids, Harry and Evan did not always get along but their parents always knew they secretly liked each other. In an effort to get Harry and Evan to bond, their parents offered to pay for any meal they ate together. Harry and Evan quickly learned to take advantage of this and went out for lunch almost everyday one summer. A couple of pounds and many dollars later, their parents' plan worked. These days, you can find Harry and Evan grabbing a meal together even when no one else will pay for it.

Evan Epstein and Ricky Gross

Ricky Gross

Ricky and Evan met freshman year when they both joined AEPi and lived in Illini Tower. Today, they still live just blocks away from each other in Chicago's West Loop. While in college, Ricky and Evan would spend hours playing Mario Golf, watching movies or going to Joe's for $1 you-call-its. These days, you can find Evan and Ricky in Italy with Pam and Ricky's wife Rachel spending hours eating pasta and drinking endless amounts of wine and lemoncello.

Evan Epstein and Matt McNamara

Matt McNamara

Matt and Evan first met in high school in AP Photography class. Spending hours together in the dark room, they would nerd out over different photo technology and soon hatched their first business venture together selling film they bought online in bulk to the other students. Evan and Matt both attended U of I where they joined AEPi and continued to waste hours talking about technology or their latest business idea.

Evan Epstein and Jeff Smith

Jeffrey Smith

Evan and Jeff first met in kindergarten where they worked on skills such as coloring within the lines and shared adventures such as riding the Jungle Jim's roller coaster at Evan's 7th birthday. Fast forward 12 years and Evan and Jeff both joined AEPi at U of I where they worked on skills such as playing beer pong and shared adventures such as trying to figure out how to stop the water after Jeff broke a pipe in the bathroom. These days, Evan and Jeff both live in Chicago and the adventures continue.  Whether it is a trip to New Orleans or to Amsterdam and Greece, you can always find Evan and Jeff up to something.

Ethan Tabakin

Ethan is Evan's soon to be brother-in-law. Like Evan, Ethan was in AEPi at U of I, although Evan and Ethan did not overlap in their time in the house. Ethan lives in Madison with Evan's sister Jenna and frequently makes it down to Chicago to spend time with Evan and the rest of the family. You can often find Evan and Ethan talking about AEPi memories or commercial real estate (the field they both work in). Whether they are hanging out at a family gathering or getting into trouble on a family trip to Jamaica, Evan is happy to have another brother.

Evan Epstein and Dan Wolff

Dan Wolff

Evan and Dan met in high school through BBYO (a jewish youth group). Evan and Dan instantly connected and have shared hours of manpanionship since then. Whether it was all night games of Monopoly or Risk (that somehow led to Dan putting a hole in the wall), late night trips to IHOP or Denny's (that somehow ended up with Evan locking the keys in his mom's minivan), or just an evening trip to Chipotle, Evan and Dan were inseparable junior and senior year of high school. Over the years, Evan and Dan have shared many adventures together including everything from trips to Israel, Mexico and Vegas to the more mundane such as a Saturday night in attempting to make the perfect grilled cheese.
